This quote means that going through struggle will ultimately make you a stronger person, mentally or physically. The obstacles we face in life test us again and again but we're able to prove that we can pull through and survive. Regular people can do extraordinary things if they can be brave in the face of adversity.
I agree with the quote and it's meaning, it has proven true that persevering through struggle can be tremendously rewarding and it feels good to know that you beat or did something that was hard.
One example of this is when I first ran around the school, I could barely do it, I was a lipid. Now I can run around the school fine now without getting tired.
